Register an individual
Registration is free and takes one command. The individual registers itself when it is created and keeps its record current from then on.
1. Install
pip install "aimnd[identity]"
2. Create a registered individual
aimnd new ./ava
This creates your owner key (owner.key), creates the individual, registers it here and prints its ID and record link. Keep owner.key safe and backed up: it is how you prove ownership, hand an individual over or revoke it.
From Python
from aimnd import Individual, OwnerKey, models
owner = OwnerKey.load_or_create("owner.key")
ava = Individual("./ava", model=models.pick("auto"), owner=owner, owner_person="you", registry="https://registry.aimndlabs.com")
print(ava.identity()["id"])Show who operates it
A record names an operator once the operator’s website lists the owner key. Publish the file that aimnd operator-file prints at https://yourdomain/.well-known/aimnd-operator.json, then:
aimnd new ./ava --domain yourdomain.com
The registry checks the file over https and records the check in its signed log. Companies can also have their legal entity verified against official business records.
Already have an individual?
aimnd registry sync --dir ./ava --to https://registry.aimndlabs.com
What is recorded
The individual’s identity, its birth, its owner key, ownership transfers, its verified operator, its standing and the hashes of its life record. Conversations, feelings and memories stay with the individual.
